Yajian Liu, born 1956, Xi’an, China, Doctor of Arts, artist, collector, critic, lives and works in Beijing.
China National First-grade Artist, Chinese Traditional Crafts Master, Senior Painter Certified by China’s ministry of culture, Executive Director of Painting Academy of China Folk Art Association, International Certified Appraiser of Painting and Calligraphy and Antique, President of Beijing Baoyiyuan Gallery.
Publications: Catalogues of paintings, poems, essays, Days as Song, Days as Dream, Days as Curiosity; Author of Tao of Chinese Painting, 2012, and Appreciating Bronze Mirrors with Yajian, 2014; Editor of Thinking of Transformation, System of Modern Enterprise, Regulation of Joint-Stock Company, Artworks of the Western Xia Dynasty; Over one thousand pieces of reviews, essays, poems, and artworks were published on magazines and newspapers.
